Wearing something you feel confident and comfortable in is, above all, most important. However, muted colours photograph nicely, such as beige, taupe, white, etc, while avoiding loud fabrics and colourful logos. When photographing families and couples, aiming to coordinate rather than match outfits and choosing a colour palette tends to look best.
